Hello team,

I have questions about TPSM63606 package outline.

According to package outline, is it correct that 0.5mm pitch pins(pin#2~#7 and #10~#15) are located slightly off from center?
Could you let me know dimensions of pin#1(#16) and pin#8(#9)?
There is dimension from pin#8 to pin#7 and dimension from pin#2 to pin#1, but would like to know also dimension from package edge to pin#8 and pin#1.

Hi Sato-san,

1. Pins are placed symmetrically around the center line.

2. The distance from the center of pin 1 to package edge is 5.5/2 - 1.275 - 0.875 = 0.6mm. The pin width is 0.5mm (0.4-0.6mm), so the distance from pin edge to package edge is 0.6 - 0.5/2 = 0.35mm.

Thank you for your comment.

According to package outline, distance from center line to center of pin 7 is 1.275mm. If the pins are placed symmetrically around center line, the distance should be 1.25mm because pin pitch is 0.5mm. So I thought the pins are placed slightly off center line. Is it wrong?

Oh yes, there is an offset -- also indicated by the 0.875mm and 0.925mm dimensions shown here:

In other words, the pitch between pins 1 and 2 is higher by 0.05mm than the pitch between pins 7 and 8.
