LM61495-Q1: Difference between LM61495, LM61480, LM62460

Part Number: LM61495-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM61495, LM62460, LM61480

Hi I see in the datasheet that for the three part numbers: LM61495, LM61480, LM62460 they are rated for 6A,8A, and 10A, and are drop-in pin-compatible. However, I don't see any differences between the parts that would indicate why they can handle higher current. For example, they all appear to have the same Rds,on for the internal switching FETs indepedent of current rating. Is the only difference, how the control loop was tuned for different operating points? Would we need to ensure our cooling solution is sufficient for the higher power loss?

Thanks
