BQ77216: PINS VERIFICATION AND OUTPUT INFORMATION

Hi!
I have some confusion about CELL Reduce in this IC. I want to use 7 cells with this IC. please confirm that attached schematics is good.

Secondly, I want to use COUT and DOUT for input of my microcontroller (0V LOW, 5V HIGH), can i get these levels at this output or i need some voltage divider circuit in it.

Hello Dania,

Your schematic seems correct. See this e2e thread on reducing cell connections:

You may have to use buffer or voltage divider circuit. It outputs at 6-V (See Section 9.3.6 Output Drive, COUT and DOUT of the datasheet). Also, make sure the device part you choose is configured for this. See Section 6 Device Comparison Table of the datasheet.
