Hi Team,

What is the difference between LM61460EVM-AS-400K and LM61460EVM-FS-400K ?
I guess AS means "adjustable switching" and FS means "forced switching" but LM61460 supports RT(pin 6) so I'm not sure why there are two boards.

Hi Kai-san,

A = AUTO (which implies PFM at light load for highest light-load efficiency)

F = FPWM (which gives constant Fsw across the full load range)

The two EVMs effectively cover the two IC options for the LM61460 (see "AAS" and "AFS" in the orderable part number). Conversely, the LM62440 has a MODE/SYNC pin that facilitates mode selection as needed depending on the application requirements.

LM61460 non-Q1 has only one package "LM61460AANRJRR" and LM61460EVM doesn't support AAN.

the difference between AAS and AAN is SS function so I will request AS EVM.

Thanks for confirming that the commercial grade has only one OPN while the automotive grade part has three OPNs.
