TLC5947: Can I double the current output by combining 2 TLC5947's output?

Part Number: TLC5947
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5946

Hi there,

I am powering 24 LEDs that all require less than 20mA of current. I am also wanting to power 5 LEDs that require 50mA of current. I am looking at the TLC5947 (readily available library, lots of information online about it used in projects with a Raspberry Pi). I will be controlling all of the LEDs with one Raspberry Pi. Since I need 50mA of current for the other 5 LEDs, can I combine the output of 2 TLC5947 to get 50mA? See the figure below: It this the correct wiring? Could I do the combined output with 2 TLC 5946's instead? I also am looking at using the TLC5946 for its high accuracy. Please excuse how messy the schematic is. I am referring to the highlighted section of the 5 LEDs with combined output. Thanks in advance for the help!
