Hi,
We power an ESP32 with a TPS63030 using 2x C type alkaline batteries in series.
To allow the batteries to fully drain and to avoid brownout we use a 2000uF capacitor on the output of the buck-boost (3.3v).
When powering the circuit with a bench power supply we see that the CC limit of 2.5A is reached and that the PS is flickering a bit.
Removing the 2000uF cap removes the flickering.
The circuit operates just fine, but we just want to know if this problematic.
