TPS2490: Voltage drop after insertion to live voltage

Part Number: TPS2490

Hi,

In our application the TPS2490 is connected to the output of an OR-ing circuit. On power-up the input is 24V and everything behaves as expected.

However, once a 30V supply is plugged in, there is an in-rush current which causes the gate voltage to drop and to recover only after ~200us.

During this 200us, the FET's source voltage drops below the original 24V and causes issues down the line. (see attached scope snapshot)

Is this the expected behaviour? Is there anything that can be done to avoid the drop in the "HOTSWAP_OUT" voltage?
