Hi,
The MCU(AT32F403ARGT7) reads the STAT pin status. When the charging power is connected, the STAT pin is pulled to low level. And when the charging power is disconnected, the STAT pin do not pull up properly. There isn't any external pull up circuit, only the MCU internal weak pull up is enabled.
As mentioned in the datasheet as following, the STAT pin should blink when fault condition occurs, but actually it keep low level voltage. What
