Below pic is from LMR33630-Q1 datasheet. I don't really know what's CHF used for? Why do we need this cap here? Could you please help to clarify? Thanks a lot!

The CHF capacitor provides a low impedance path for the high frequency switching currents in the DC/DC converter.
It is important to use the correct value and physical placement, as recommended in the data sheet, to obtain correct performance of the regulator.
This is true of any DC/DC converter, not just the LMR33630.
