TPS1HB16-Q1: SNS pin voltage when large current flow

Part Number: TPS1HB16-Q1

hi, can you tell me possible max voltage at SNS pin? the voltage is proportional to output current, but is this clamped at certain voltage? (like in overcurrent event)

  • Ito-san,

The maximum current that can flow out of the SNS pin is when the device enters the faults state.

Then the output of the sense pin is I_SNSFH from the datasheet which is a maximum of 5.3mA.

Please make sure to adjust the sense resistance as appropriate for your controller or ADC.

    Thanks,

    Shreyas
