TLC5957: Default state of TLC5957

We are using TLC5957 RGB LED Driver in our design. We are controlling the driver with FPGA through SPI interface.

Please let us know what will be the state of TLC5957 when the SPI interface from FPGA gets disconnected or failed

After power on, all OUTXn of TLC5957 are turned off, and all the counters and FC registers are initialized

What will be output channel state of TLC5957 if GCLK becomes always high or always low

Hi Abishek,

When GSCLK is disconnected, PWM counter no longer increases. For the channels on ON status, they will be fully turn-on at 100% duty. For the channels on OFF status, they will keep off. The disconnection of other interface pin would not influence the operation of output channels.
