What is the difference between UCD90320 and UCD90320U? It looks like both devices are P2P compatible.

    Hi

    The main difference is that UCD90320U use ultra low alpha(ULA) mold compound which help to minimize SEU caused by  the alpha particle.

    Thanks for the reply. Is there any design change to switch from UCD90320 to UCD90320U or from UCD90320U to UCD90320? We are just considering to to make these two devices a 2nd source to each other if possible. Thanks,

    Hi

    UCD90320U is P2P with UCD90320. so there are no hardware(sch,layout) changes required.

    But since UCD90320U has different features as UCD90320, the configuration file is not the same.

    Customer can use UCD90320 project file(.xml) on the UCD90320U, but not on reversed order. Moreover the data flash hex or script file is not compatible cross these two devices.

    Customer need generate .hex or .csv file after importing xml file.
