Hi support team,

Please let me know the purpose of D4 and D9.

1. I think that current will flow for a moment when the power supply is connected in reverse.
Is it to prevent current from flowing in the load circuit?

or

2. Is it to prevent current from flowing to TPS266xx when a negative current appears in the output for some reason?

    Hi Dice,

    It is to prevent current flowing into TPS266x when output swings negative during abrupt turn-off for events such as short-circuit etc. D4 and D9 provides path to freewheel the inductive current in such scenarios protecting TPS266x
