Hi Andrew,
This depends on the package that the customer is using.
RWT: pin5 floating would work
pin6 floating would work
DRL: pin5 floating would not work as a connection to an external feedback devider is necessary
pin6 connection to output would work
PDRL: pin5 floating would not work as a connection to an external feedback devider is necessary
pin6 if not being used leave floating and not shorted to output

Alex

Hi Alex
Big thanks for the detail answer!!!
Just double check for RWT package, is it ok to short pin 6 to output? Thx!!
Andrew
Hi Alex,
Customer also wants to double check in RWT package, pin 5,6 NC must connect to same thing? Can they do different connection?
Like one floating, the other one connecting with Vout?
please kindly verify for customer, thanks!
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
Yes in the datasheet we recommend to connect pin6 to the output or to ground so no issue there.
Pin 5 and 6 are not connected so I don't see any problem on having them connected to different things.

Alex
