TPSM82813: Using with effective output capacitance greater than 470 uF?

Part Number: TPSM82813

Hello,

I noticed in the datasheet under recommended operating conditions Table 7.3 the maximum effective output capacitance is listed as 470 uF. In section 9.3.3 there is this statement: "The compensation range has to be chosen based on the minimum effective capacitance used. The capacitance can be increased from the minimum value as given in Table 9-1 up to the maximum of 470 µF in all of the three compensation ranges."

I'm interpreting this to mean that this device should NOT be used if the effective total output capacitance, which would include both the power module's output capacitance and capacitances of any downstream devices, is greater than 470 uF. Is that correct?

Thanks!
