LM25118: Generate 4 isolated output

Part Number: LM25118

Dear teams,

Whether LM25118 can implement following requirements?

Vin: 5-36V

Vout: 4 output with voltage 8V; Output current are 30/30/30/80mA, totally 170mA.

Customer is planning to achieve isolation at the output side with ratio 1:1 transformer to do that.

If you think LM25118 is not appropriate, could you help recommend one device?

Hi Dylan,

Yes, this device can do that but might even be a little bit oversized as a asynchronous Converter or Controller would also be able to do this - maybe with even better efficiency.

So you might want to check the LM515x devices.

For the topology i would check a Flyback as this would give you already the isolation.

Bu the way - i understood that all 4 outputs should be isolated against each other right.
