BQ24450: Is BQ24450 always charging battery?

Dear team

This is Sunny from China.

I have a question about BQ24450 charging process.

As you can see below picture, in STATE#3, the I_CHG is 0, until  V_BAT is VRCH, the new charging cycle will start again.

I want to know, in STATE#3, BQ24450 will not charge the battery. In this state, the battery may discharge because of the consumption of hardware circuit. So, the battery may charge and discharge constantly even though the system power is always ok. Is it right? Or BQ24450 may always charge the battery and make sure the battery is always full when the system power is ok.

    Hello

    State #3 (ref figure 5 from data sheet) the unit is in voltage float mode after completing charge of the battery.  Unit is in a voltage regulation mode and charger output current is set R-ISNS resistor.  

     "So, the battery may charge and discharge constantly even though the system power is always ok. Is it right?" -- Yes.
