REF2033: USE Vbias for ADC reference

Part Number: REF2033
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF1933,

Hi,

I need a 1.65v voltage for ADC reference voltage.

REF2033,REF1933,REF20 can output 1.65v, but in description,1.65v is Vbias for the input bipolar signals.

Can I use Vbias for the ADC reference?

If this can, these three IC(REF2033\REF1933\REF20),which is the most recommended?

Thanks.

  • Hi

Vibias has similar accuracy and drive capability as Vout pin for REF20 and REF19. You can use REF2033/REF1933 Vibias pin for 1.65V ADC reference voltage.

REF20 has better error budget compare to REF19 in terms of temperature accuracy and long term stability .  I'd recommend to go with REF2033 if your ADC resolution is 12 bit or more.
