LM25119: Suitability of the part as replacement for LM5119 in a circuit with Max Vin 30V

Part Number: LM25119
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5117, LM5119, LM25117,

We have been using the LM5119 and also a LM5117 on  our products.

We find it easier to obtain the LM25119 and LM25117 parts at present.

The boards are nominally 24VDC.

The higher voltage Vin Max of the original part is not really required.

The parts seem to be a suitable drop in replacement.

It appears the only differences between the LM25119 & LM5119 are the VCC regulation conditions and the Undervoltage threshold, and just the Undervoltage threshold on the LM5117 & Lm25117.

So this should only affect the device during initial power up as there will be a marginal difference in the time before the outputs are enabled, as Vin ramps up.

Also under fault conditions a slight difference at what point  the ULVO takes effect.

Are this statements correct ?
