Hello,

We are starting on a new design for our cellular tracking device. It will use a rechargeable NiMH battery (about 500mAH) .

Can you suggest an option for battery charger IC that can support NiMH (and possible both NiMH and Li-ion chemistries?)

Hello Adam,

We have BQ25171-q1, this device can support both NiMH / Li-ion by adjust the VSET resistor. Compared to the BQ24401 there is less noise as its a linear charger.
