LM61440-Q1: “Peak Signal” and “Average Signal” at Conducted EMI plots

Hello,

At Figure 10-42 of the datasheet, there are two plots called “Peak Signal” and “Average Signal”.
What do you mean by the “Peak Signal” and “Average Signal” respectively?
Please elaborate.

Hi Kazuhiko,

EMI receiver will detect noise several times at certain freq point, Peak signal is the max noise value detected during testing period, Average signal is the noise value after average, the average time is stated by EMC standard.
