BQ76952: TS1 ADC acquisition error issue

Part Number: BQ76952

Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

The customer uses the ADC functionality of this pin to acquire the temperature and the TS1 Config~TS4 Cofig register is configured to 0x03.

The customer wanted to verify the accuracy of the temperature acquire on the board, so tested with a fixed resistor value to compare the temperature value from the program to the value from the thermistor temperature-resistance table.

1) What is the reason for the large error between the actual value and the displayed value? During the test, it was found that the value of the acquired voltage ADC increases over time and the resulting temperature error value increases. They've also referenced to the thread, but not applicable.

2) When configured to 0x03, is the reference source for the ADC of TS1 1.8 v or Vref? When the TS2 pin is floating, the ADC acquires a value of 4BA, which is different from the reference 1250 provided. How is the temperature value calculated if the officially provided temperature probe is not selected?

3) Is it possible to use DASTATUS to capture the ADC voltage value for TS1~TS2 to get the temperature value?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry
