Hello,

I have recently ordered UCD3138PSFBEVM kit and in that currently I have started working with UCD3138CC64EVM module independently. I had downloaded firmware of PSFB (sluc614) from TI website and tried to download the firmware in UCD3138CC64EVM through UCD3xxx Device GUI. While firmware download in UCD3xxx Device GUI, it requires .x0 file (as per the user guide). The firmware downloaded (sluc614) doesn't contain .x0 file. Kindly let me know where to find .x0 files for sample initial running/checking and working with UCD3138CC64EVM.

Priya, you need to compile the firmware to get the .x0 file, this shall be done with CCS 6.2, which is available here:

Hello,

Can we directly compile PSFB firmware (sluc614)) in CCS? Is the file compatible with CCS?

Hello,

The downloaded firmware contains .c ,.asm , .h and .tmp files. Which one needs to be compiled in CCS to convert it into .x0 file which further needs to be used in controller EVM.

Hello,

I have watched the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSG2CUuvbMo) and found it very helpful. I have downloaded ccs6.2 and sluc614 firmware. I tried opening the firmware in ccs for compilation but failed to understand which exact file i need to compile and convert into .x0 . Kindly help me out with this.

Priya, not sure where do you get stucked. Have you import the project into CCS sucessfully?

If it's imported, you shall see the project information in the "Project Explorer" like this.

To get to this sucessfully, go to "Project"---->"Import CCS Projects...", then a new window would appare as below.

Click "Browse" and choose the directory where you put the firmware in, then the project name would appare, then click "Finish".
