LM25576: Is it capable of sourcing current in inverting Buck-Boost configuration.

Hello,

I am using LM25576 in inverting Buck-Boost configuration to generate -12.5V from 12V. I wanted to know if this device will be capable of sourcing any current in this configuration?

LM25576 is async buck, so it can output around 1A-1.5A, but it won't have sink current capaility

But in Inverted buck boost configuration isn't it supposed to sink in current ?

the energy flow is from input to output, sink current means the average indcutor current is negative, the energy flow is from output to input.

as LM25576 is asyn, so it can't allowed the inductor current go to negative
