TPS65150: TFT LCD with special voltage requirements (AVDD, VCOM, VGL, VGH, Backlight)

Part Number: TPS65150
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65132, TPS65100, TPS65105

Below is an excerpt of an MIPI LCD that requires multiple voltage rails.

I wonder what drives this as in the past LCD's could work with 3.3 or 5V only. (excl. the backlight)

On top of that, it seems there is no standard, Panels with such requirement vary a lot in their voltage range requirements.

There are many TI devices, but it hard to find which device would be most suitable (lowest additional parts and cost) to realize this.

From searching it seems that the only device that meets this (with min. input of 1.8V) is the TPS65150. Though it does not meet VGH an VGL.

1. Are there other solutions ? (Preference is TSSOP, not QFN)

2 Are there LCD power drivers that can supply directly VGL instead of using additional pumps ?

3. Are there devices that are I2C programmable. This would make one designed board suitable for different LCDs. (ref: Richtek RT6749-QT-A)

4. IS the only solution to add  pumps (diode circuits) to obtain these voltages

5. The backlight/CCFL needs 180mA @ 9.6V. Is there a one solution than can support all these voltage rails ?
