Hi support team,

Confirmation of tSU;STA specification of I2C Interface of TLC59116F.
The MIN value of STANDARD-MODE of SCLS714C is 1.7μs.

In the following document of NXP, it is 4.7μs.

It is 4.7μs for TLC59108F.

Is 1.7μs of TLC59116F correct?

Hi Dice,

The device is too old and we cannot find the original design spec of it. But if the min value is lower than NXP standard, which means the requirement is loosen right? If your controller can follow the NXP standard, it should be OK for TLC59116F to support.

Thank you for your reply.

A small MIN value means high performance.
If 1.7μs is true, then the TLC59116F has better performance than the NXP standard.
If you cannot guarantee 1.7μs, we follow the NXP standard, which requires a SETUP time of 4.7μs.
Is it correct to adopt 4.7μs?
