BQ2961: Can PMOS be used instead of SC Protector

Hi,

In the below application diagram(using BQ2961), how do we use PMOS to isolate the battery incase of overcharge or overdischarge.

Also, is it possible to use NMOS on low side to achieve the same.

We are basically looking for an resettable option.
