I got following question about the top marking information:

Could you please help me understand what do the markings mean on the components? I could not seem to find the explanation in the datasheets:

What are the differences between 0CA 7524Q and 18A 7524Q?

Hello Aaron,

I checked the existing thread, it leads to the part marking lookup tool which is not providing information about the "0CA" or "18A". Is there any other document or tool available we could recommend?

Is there a reason for needing this information?

As is mentioned on the other thread, if I post the exact meaning of every character for our devices, then it would become exceedingly easy for anyone who chose to use that information to mark their own counterfeit parts.

Hi, Let me reformulate my question: Is there any way of visually differentiating between UCC27524AQDGN*Q1 and UCC27524A1-Q1 by checking the marking on the component? I see that both components have 7524Q in common and 3 more digits that are different between components.

Thank you for the clarification! No, there are no markings to differentiate these. (Sorry) However, there are physical differences between the D and DGN packages.

Additionally, in the future, consider our new generation of the UCC27524, the UCC27624! The automotive qualified and DGN versions should be available by the end of this year (2022) and Q1 of 2023 respectively. (This is the current timeline and is subject to change.)
