Hi, 


I would like to ensure this is best choice for an application:

For the upcoming design considering using the TPL7407LA-Q1. Is this part a good option for new designs or are there any other parts similar that have been recently designed and would be more available?

 Application:

Low side switch for 12V-24V relay coils

EMF protection is nice

<150mA per relay coil

4-8 channels.

I know this IC does not have diagnostics, but that could be an option too.

 Please advise.

    Hello HSG,

    Our LSS options (such as ULN2003A) offer very limited integrated protection features and no diagnostics. TPL7407LA-Q1 is a good option. If diagnostics are needed it's recommended to couple with a high side switch.
