Hi Narendra,

This is the only model we have for third party SPICE tools. It could be other simulators may give errors or interpret part of the PSPICE netlist wrongly. Since the model is developed and tested only for PSPICE, it is recommended to use PSPICE-FOR-TI for your simulations.

Hi Narendra,

It should be possible to change the VIN and load on the schematic page of the PSPICE project. I checked it and was able to modify VIN and load.

Are you not able to do this in the tool? Could you check which version of PSPICE-FOR-TI you have?

i am trying to update here(ref 1st image) and after running the  simulation i am getting 3.6V in measurement

You would need to make the steady state sim as the active one. You can choose it in the box highlighted in red. It seems to me that you updated the steady state schematic, but still run the startup sim.

Hi Varun i am trying to calculate the efficiency of the DC-Dc converter for that i am taking the input current measurement  as below i am getting an efficiency of 45.49% why  i am getting  that much low efficiency. Can u please hep me on this.

Hi Narendra,

To calculate the efficiency it will be best to enable power data collection. You can do this by going to 'Edit Simulation Profile' and choosing 'All but internal subcircuits' for Power under the 'Data Collection' tab.

Once the simulation is run, you can add traces for the power of the input DC source as well the load resistor. You can also use an averaging function for the power from the input source by modifying it's trace expression to 'AVG(W(VIN))'.
