Hi team,

My customer is considering using TPS62040 or TPS62044.
Package is VSON.


Is the Thermal pad (No. 11) for heat dissipation?
Is it okay to just solder?
The data sheet seemed to have no explanation for electrical connections.
Is it okay to think that connection to GND etc. is unnecessary?

    Hi Yuya,

    On page 4 of the datasheet, there is a note below the figure with the packages that the Thermal pad should be connected to GND.

    You could also check if one of our newer devices TPS62825 fits this application.
