hi Datasheet says HS pin has -5V Abs max rating, is this DC ratings?

when the HS is pulled lower than -5V, what is possible damage? would it be ESD cell damage or different damage mode?

Can you tell me more,

1. is ESD diode placed between HS -VSS?

2. Is it possible to use this device to regular MOS? (not GaN MOS) any concerns? No gate resistor is needed for MOSFET drive usecase?

Hi Ito-san,

1. I am looking into this and will update you tomorrow.

2. It is possible to use this driver for with MOSFETs. The need for an external gate resistor will depend on your design and parasitics and may be needed to reduce ringing or driver power dissipation. Please see this app note for some further information.

Hi Ito-san,

There is ESD protection between all pins. So there will be ESD protection HS to VSS
