TPS65150: To disable fault shutdown

Hi,

The old TPS65150 datasheet do mention tied FDLY to VIN for disabling fault shutdown function, but the latest datasheet is not talking about this.

My customer want to know whether they could follow old datasheet (see below link capture) to disable fault shutdown function?

Hi Tiger,

Yes, it is okay to tie FDLY directly to VIN to disable fault detection. The new datasheet also talks about it in the pinout section of the datasheet. Please see an excerpt below from new datasheet.
