TPS65910: Why EEPROM boot mode?

Hi... I'm trying to understand why exists eeprom boot mode in TPS65910 family... I haven't found documentation...

Perhaps this mode can "overwrite" the PMIC's OTP configuration. I hope so... Where I can find information about this mode?

Hi Max,

EEPROM boot mode can be achieved by setting BOOT0/1=01 as showing by picture below from its datasheet; and it's only for EEPROM programmed by factory ATE. Unfortunately, TI doesn't allow customers including Apps engineers to "overwrite" it.

What means "ATE" in "EEPROM programmed by factory ATE"?

Hi Max,

"ATE" stands for Automation Test Equipment which has all setups to program the units properly.
