Hi Expert,

I'm looking for drop in replacement IC for TPS2069CDGNR (DGN package). So I found below devices and I'd like to double check with you if they are really p2p IC to TPS2069CDGNR.

BTW, What's difference between TPS2069 and TPS2069C?

Please let me know if you know another p2p solution for this.

I will get you the result for pin to pin devices. And for the different suffix of TPS2069, it indicates the different material of the internal bonding wire. TPS2069C should be with gold bonding wire but I need double check.

Hi Jay,

The package for TPS2001C & TPS2069C are similar, but they have different features. So they only share the similar pin-out it's hared to say they are pin-to-pin devices.

For TPS2069 and TPS2069C, sorry I have to correct what I said as below,

TPS2069: 1.5A loading, 2.7-5.5V, 70mΩ USB power switch, active-high, reverse blocking

TPS2069C: 1.5A loading, 4.5-5.5V, 69mΩ USB power switch, active-high, output discharge, reverse blocking

So the difference is on input voltage, resistance of the power switch and for TPS2069C, it can support output discharge.

If you don't need output discharge, TPS2065 can be the replacement.
