PS: It seems, the Office 2016 does not support them. No more TI instructions available.

  • Hello, they launch in MS office excel 2019. I have not heard of anyone having issues with compatibility with older software years.

  • I have checked the published excel file versions. The process was made based on this guide: compatibility - Which Version of Microsoft Word created a given document? - Super User

LMR50410: it was made in Office 2010

    <AppVersion>14.0300</AppVersion>

LMR54410: it was made in Office 2016

    <AppVersion>16.0300</AppVersion>

I have Office 2016. The all macros are enabled and the VBA project object models are enabled too.

Here are the pictures about errors. What is wrong and how can I avoid them?

After edit any user yellow fields:

inconsitant field values and graph. Missing bode chart:

    unreadable bubbles:

    Fake informations in bubbles:

    Compatibility reports and details:

  • Hello, I dont have a solution for your microsoft excel compatibility issues. My colleagues and I verified on our end it is fine.

I would recommend to view the design calculator in 1920x1080 aspect ratio to ensure everything is clear. That is what I am using.

  • Hi,

TI's excel solutions are not compatible with hungarian regional setting in WIN10. Decimal symbol (which is comma by default) has to be replace to dot sign for running well. This problem is existing every regional settings where decimal symbol is not dot.

It is recommended to check this setting in VBA and warning the user about problem as you can see it in this video:

Changing Regional Settings in Windows 10 - YouTube

    Abour excel compatibility:

    LMR54410: Office 2010 or above*

    LMR50410: Office 2010 or above*

*Office 2007 works until size of internal used 2D array is not above 32000 points. At this moment, it seems okay but warning.

I am using resolution of 1920x1080, but bubble texts are unreadable. Text styles are bold and bubble windows are not resizable.

  • Sorry, I could not be of more help, Attila, but I will forward this to my colleagues and see if we adapt future calculators too have Hungarian users be able to use them without issue, or at the least, other users will be able to reference this for a workaround.

Appreciate you posting back to the forum the solution.
