Hi Team,

we are using TPS54061DRBT part and we require case temperature and Ambient temperature of given part so please provide this information.

    Hi

    you need to let us know the input and output condition so that we can estimated the power loss . the Junction temperature is -40-150deg C. 

    the case temperature Tcase=Tj-ψJT*Powerloss, Tambient_max=Tjmax-powerlossmax*ThetaJA

    We require Ambient temperature for given part not junction temperature.

    HI Modi:

    the minimum temperature is -40deg C, the max ambient temperature related to power loss of IC.

    if TPS54061 power loss is 0.1W, ambient temperature can go almost to 145deg C.

    if TPS54061 power loss is 0.5W, ambient temperature need low down to 125deg C to avoid go higher than 150deg C Tjmax

    and the power loss related to Vin, Io, Vo and fsw, so I can't tell you ambient temperature unless you let me know the input and output condition.
