LM61430-Q1: Difference between LMR23625-Q1

Part Number: LM61430-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMR23625-Q1, , LMR23625

Hi,

I would like to know what is the diffenence between LMR23625-Q1 and LM61430-Q1. I checked their specification and they seem to be similar, however, I am not sure if my understading is correct.

The LMR23625-Q1 is a "SIMPLE SWITCHER" which to my understading is focused on efficiency while LM61430-Q1 is specifically designed for Lom EMI requirements. Can you explain more?

Thanks!

  • I hope you can reply the soonest.

  • Hi VD,

Can you provide your application requirements (Input voltage, ouput voltage, load current, switching frequency)? Asides from the difference in recommended operating conditions (LMR23625 is not recommended to operate above 2.5A max load or 28V output voltage), it looks like LM61430-Q1 has 1) a PGOOD functionality and 2) the opportunity to further optimize your efficiency with the selection of an Rboot resistor, while the LMR23625-Q1 does not.

    Regards,

    Richard
