TPS61235P: Schematic Review

Hi,

Please review my schematic below

The voltage and current will come from a LIPO Battery(3.7V/6000mAh). I'd like to boost converter to output 5.1V and 3A max as my output will be going to my load which will be a Raspberry Pi 4b. I'd like to use the CC feature to limit the current to around 3A for safety reasons. I calculated the worst case input_avg current to be around 5.2427A. Please see if my capacitance values are also fine. I will not be able to pull EN high or low whenever I'd like to so I tied EN to VIN.

Also is my connections to ground fine? I'm using a common ground and made a connection with AGND and PGND together.

Hi Andy,

I think there is no problem. One thing maybe you should check is that the saturation of inductor you use is enough.

As for connection of ground, as long as when you design your layout, remember that you'd better separate AGND and PGND and only use one line to connect these two ground to make their potential equal.

Thank you Ill keep the saturation of indcutor is enough. I'm sorry but what does "separate" AGND and PGND mean?
