TPS2492: Simulate TPS2492 with TINA

Hi expert.

I have tried to design schematic using TPS2492 with some configure as bellow:

- Normal Voltage: 24VDC

- Maximum: 27 VDC

- Overvolt Threshold: 28VDC

- Undervolt Threshold: 21VDC

- Load current 2.5A.

So could you help me to check the schematic and value of Resistor is correct?

Beside that, I don't know exactly how to choose the power to run simulate in TINA with TPS2492. Can you have me choose the power and some parameter , which can simulate TPS2492 with TINA.

Hi Rakesh.

Thank for your respond.

The design calculator you have suggested me, it use TPS2490/2491 (don't have pin OV).

Beside that, I have followed application note from TPS2492 and calculate the value for them. But when I simulate with TINA, it seem not correct.

So can you analysis the signal of VOUT in my design in the fine I sent you before that.

Hi Hoang,

You are hitting OVLO in your circuit. reduce the threshold to make successful startup.
