how to calculate the ripple current of Cout capacitor ripple current?

Vin:-

min = 6V      Typ = 12V      Max = 16V

L = 10uH;    Cout = 10uF;

RFBT = 51k;    RFBT = 22.1k

vout =3.3V

    Hi Harish,

    To calculate the Cout ripple current, you need to assume the load current is pure dc.  Therefore, all the inductor ripple current will flow into Cout.  i,e., you need to calculate inductor ripple current, which is straight forward for a buck circuit. Please refer to Equation (8) of the datasheet.
