TLVM13660: Stable operation with small output current (about 0.1A)

Part Number: TLVM13660

Hi,

We are currently considering using the TLVM13660 as a power supply IC in a common board. The reason we are considering the TLVM13660 within the TLVM136x0 is because of its flexibility in terms of load current.

I would like to know whether the TLVM13660 (6A product) operates stably with a small output current (about 0.1A). Please let me know if you have any concerns.

Thanks,

Astro

  • Hi AStro,

No problem operating at light load. It operates in FPWM at constant switching frequency. Note we also have the 4A version of this, just in case the 6A isn't required (same footprint, these are interchangeable). However, the 2A and 3A versions are different footprints to the 4A and 6A.

    Regards,

    Tim
