TLV62568A: TLV62568A Output Accuracy

Part Number: TLV62568A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62088, TPS62843

I couldn't find a specification in the component's datasheet specifying the output voltage tolerance/accuracy of the converter. The only mention of "accuracy" relevant to the converter's output is the mention that reducing the resistance of the feedback network increases "output voltage accuracy but increase current consumption." The current consumption is not an issue however I need the converter to output 1.1V within +-4%.

Is there a way to guarantee this converter will perform within the 4% spec?

Thanks, Nate

  • Hi Nate,

Unfortunately, we do not have the characteristics data for Vout accuracy for the whole operating range of this device. However, I have some measured data taken at various Vin, Vout =1.8V and load current upto 1A, which shows that Vout is within +/- 4% of the nominal output.

I would like to highlight that this is just an example and we cannot guarantee this in every corner cases,as we do not have the data for it. If you would like to use a device which has guaranteed +/- 1% Vout accuracy, you may look into other products in our portfolio such as TPS62843, TPS62088 etc. Let me know in case you are interested to know more about the other products.

    Thanks!

  • Yes, thank you, this is resolved. I ended up selecting a TI converter with a specified +-2% margin of error on the output. Thanks for your help!
