USB-CTM-MINIDK-EVM: Question about using USB-C Dock Station in Sink/DFP Role

Part Number: USB-CTM-MINIDK-EVM

Hi,

I would like to use an USB-CTM-MINIDK-EVM in my project  configure to Sink / DFP mode connected to my custom board configure to Src/UFP mode.

My custom board use a buck boost controler to deliver VBUS (5V) and a stsub1702 as PD Controler.

Both are managed by a microcontroler PIC32MX. I have a problem in my usb-c stack in the stusb1702 blocked in UnorientedDebugAccessorySRC state instead of to be in AttachedSRC. I don't understand why Rd resistors in both CC Lines are pull up and no Ra resistor are pull down for VCONN.

I connect my custom board to the TI Dock Station with the USB-C DFP connector acording to the user guide. Did I do something wrong ? VBUS is delivered to TI Dock Station because LED are lit just like the fourth picture in user guide.

If i want to change the firmware on your eval board where can i find it ? On CCS ?

Sincerely,

Paul-Emile Perrin
