Hi Team,

When the VCC pin voltage above 7.5 V, the internal startup regulator will be shut off.

If after that, the external voltage is gone, when will the internal power supply start again? Will this be seamless? Is there a delay? Will the IC restart? Thanks.

Hello Charlie,

The internal regulator is not disabled, it just does not supply current, if the voltage on VCC is higher than his regulation voltage. This means the transition will be seamless as long as there is the right capacitor connected to VCC and stays charged when you disconnect the external supply.
