The Qmax update should happen after R_DIS clears. Since it has been a long time now, all that should have happened. If you still haven't seen an update, then you may have to start from the beginning.

Check the flags at every step and don't proceed until the flags have changed state. Details are in this document www.tij.co.jp/.../slua903.pdf

Hi I performed a discharge relax charge relax cycle. All flags changed state as they should but update status and qmax values did not change

The charge passed should be at least 90% of Design capacity for Qmax to update. Check if that condition is met.

So if full charge capacity is 2208 and design capacity is 2500, qmax wont update?

The initial Qmax Pack, Qmax Cell 0, Qmax Cell 1, Qmax Cell 2, and Qmax Cell 3 values should be taken from the cell manufacturers' data sheet multiplied by the number of parallel cells, and are also used for the DesignCapacity function value in the Design Capacity data flash value.

Yes all the Qmax values as well as the design capacity are set to 2500 as specified in the datasheet.
