TPS65265: Power management forum

Part Number: TPS65265

Hi,

I am using TPS65265RHBR, triple Output buck, to have 5V, 8V and 3V3 rails. I was wondering if I chose the right component for the compensation pin.

The design was based on the eval board as well.

Any recommendation would be highly appreciated!

Hi Sabrine,

Thanks for reaching out! Would you mind uploading the schematic of higher resolution with voltage rating of output capacitor? You can also use Pspice average mode of TPS65265 to check loop stability.

Thanks for the reply!

The input cap for 12V rail are 25V voltage rating minimum; for the 3V3 output the voltage rating is 10V and L6vis 4A

For 5V output, caps are 10V and L4 is 4A; Same for 8V output.

Capacitors for CMx pins are: 22pF/50V amd 2700pF /50V.

Hi Sabrine,

Sorry for late response. I checked the compensation network parameter based on the effective Cout value: 3.3Vout-14uF; 5Vout: 10uF; 8Vout: 6uF. I'm good for this while it's still recommended to check the loop stability performance based on evaluation board.
