I am reading ST VN7008 datasheet and find some confusion parts.
1. I see that they have a parameter, reverse DC output current. Do we have similar parameter like that?
2. They say the diode&res network can protect driving inductive load. But I don't really understand how it protects. Is it the same as our high side? May you help clarify based on your knowledge? Thanks.

Hi Elec,
For 1. the reverse max current will be close to the nominal current since the switch will be auto enabled during reverse current situation. It will be a bit less since the reverse Ron will be higher than the forward Ron.
2. Without the resistor, during an inductive discharge, the IC_GND will be pulled to Output negative voltage since there is parasitic path inside the IC from IC_GND to output. The GND network helps to pull the IC_GND close to the system GND during the inductive discharge.
