Hello team,

According to datasheet 8.3.2, I_charge could be fixed by R_sr.

If the customer wants to design adjustable I_charge, do they need to add an external circuit such as switches?

Do you have any experience about this or reference/recommended circuit(FET, analog switch,..)?

    Hi Austin,

    I do not have such experience on designing adjustable I_charge for standalone charger and unfortunately I don't think we have such reference design.

    I would recommend making the V_ISET1 adjustable by using something that can provide stable, high accuracy voltage output.

    I would highly recommend your customer to order an EVM to test out the external V_ISET control circuit before committing the design.
