TPSM53602: OC Test Issue

Part Number: TPSM53602

Dear Team,

The customer uses TPSM53602 with a load of 0.1A. They will do the reliablity test before product delivery and force 3A current with TPSM53602 ,about 1 minute. Now customer wants to confirm whether this will cause any adverse impact for TPSM53602..

Pls kindly help to check it.

3A is over rated current of TPSM53602, it may make the device come into over current condition.

Hi Daniel,

I know what you mean，the datasheet show over current is 3.5A，so customer want to konw whether the reliablity test will cause any adverse for TPSM53602.

Hi Daniel,

I have confirmed withe customer,when they do the 3A realibity test,TPSM53602 will be over current protected,Now they will send the sample device to end customer.So they want to know whether the realibity test will produce any damage in the TPSM56302.

Hi Ning:

Reliability test with 3A load will not produce damage to the product, only make the output abnormal due to over current protection.
